For Captains Wally, Dale, Ron, Rusty & Greg it's not just a summer job, but a passion! 

We are the Original Wisconsin River Jet Boat Trip and the first Jet Boat Tour in the Midwest.  We have been independently operated since 1997.  Captain Ron's Original Dells Jet Boats operate on the Upper Dells of the Wisconsin River.

Captain Ron, a licensed Captain and owner of Captain Ron's Original Dells Jet Boats and a ten-year Navy Veteran just can't get enough of this job!  You won't find a more personalized and exciting tour than the one where the owner is your pilot.  Captain Ron lives in the Wisconsin Dells area with his wife, Maria.  They can be found working on their business together with their 1 year old daughter.  They await their second child in November 2008.

Captain Dale, a retired Military Veteran, has been with the company for 7 years and is often referenced by return guests as, "The Oregon Hippie."  He is a free spirited captain that enjoys getting his passengers wet on the hottest days of summer.  Captain Dale and his wife, Ellen, live in the state of Oregon where they enjoy hunting and fishing together in the off-season. 

Captain Rusty, is a 3rd year jet boat veteran and native to the area.  His witty slapstick humor will keep you laughing all the way back to the dock.  When Captain Rusty isn't racing along the river, he fulfills his need for speed on his motorcycle.  During the off-season Captain Rusty can be found teaching Tech-Ed at nearby Wonewoc High School.   

Captain Wally, a licensed Captain and our newest pilot has both an adventurous spirit & love of nature.  A combination that makes him a winning Jet Boat pilot.  Captain Wally has recently retired from his privately owned business as a cobbler.  Instead of working indoors he is now living his dream of working in the beautiful outdoors.  Captain Wally lives in nearby Montello with his lovely wife, Elvira. 

Captain Greg, is a history teacher at nearby Wonewoc School District.  He has always wanted to give Dells tours, due to his love of the local history.  Captain Greg's witty and outgoing personality, along with his perfectionist nature guarantee an exciting and historically accurate tour.  He resides in nearby Mauston with his ticket selling wife, Dana.
